SSC CGL Latest Graduate Level Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2015: Every year, Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Test. SSC has recently uploaded their official notification regarding CGL on its official website www.ssc.nic.in. All the Interested candidates can apply for this exam, before its due date. CGL is conducted in 3 stages, commonly known as Tier-1, Tier- 2 & Tier-3. If candidates want to crack this competitive examination, then he/she have to clear all 3 stages successfully. Students who have applied for this examination need to start preparing for it strategically. These competitive examination need practice and time management skills the most. Students are advised to go through the SSC CGL Exam Pattern and Syllabus.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Syllabus 2015:

Tier 1: CGL Prelim Exams 2015

  • General Intelligence: Candidates can encounter tricky questions in this paper. This paper includes analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
  • General Awareness: Candidates should be able to attempt all the questions regarding the General Knowledge questions. This paper will test candidate’s general knowledge about the things. Candidates should be aware of current events. They should have whole knowledge about the current events regarding India’s history, Culture, Geography, economic scene, General polity and scientific research and other neighbour countries.
  • Arithmetic: Candidates have to practice a little more on this subject. This subject is scoring yet tough. Arithmetic includes whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time.

Tier 2: CGL Main Exams 2015

  • General Studies: Candidates can encounter tricky questions in this paper. This paper includes General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability questions too. Students should attempt all the questions of this subject with very calm and alert mind.
  • English Language: This paper test student’s ability to understand English language. This paper will include very basic questions regarding the English Language.
  • Arithmetic: Candidates have to practice a little more on this subject. This subject is scoring yet tough. Arithmetic includes whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationships between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time.
  • English Comprehension: In this paper candidate need to understand the usage of English. This paper include short essays, letter writing etc. Overall, this paper will test candidates writing ability.

  • Hindi: This paper include Hindi essays, comprehension etc. This paper will test your grammar and usage of correct Hindi all over in the paper.
